A Guide to Storage Unit Sizes
When choosing self-storage units in Sydney, there is one major consideration – size. It is one that many people over or under estimate, causing you to waste money on unused space or having to increase storage to fit all your belongings in.
Knowing how you will store and manage your items to fit into a storage unit is a major part of getting the right space to fit your needs. There are many options when thinking about and agreeing on self-storage room sizes.
Many will have an average size that will accommodate your needs – however, if you find that you need more space, many of them can be increased to just the right size. Every square inch costs money and you need to be paying only what you require for your things. Companies in Sydney sometimes offer $1 storage units for one month as a trial.
Making the Right Choice with Storage Units
There are so many different self-storage unit sizes in Sydney that it would be difficult to not have the ideal solution to your storing needs. Whether your needs would fit into a hall closet space, about 5ft by 5ft or if you need 300 square foot to fit a car and other items – options are available.
Everyone is different and requires something just for them, your personal belongings are special and you need a space to keep them safe.
Need Storage Space?
With that said, many self-storage space providers have standard sizing. The space description is not very useful for most people. So below are some ideas of how much a given space could accommodate. Thus, you may find the correct space based on your needs.
Before going ahead, it is better to be prepared and list all items you wish to add to storage and the general sizing of items such as furniture. This will make it easier to map out your space so that every inch is used and not a waste of money.
5 feet x 5 feet – ideal for smaller items such as small drawers, single mattresses, and smaller boxes. It is 25 square foot and usually the smallest option at self-storage unit providers.
